The i3+ EVO and its i3 EVO sibling, the i3 EVO are both identical robots that differ only in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ is a good option for those who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but are willing to manually empty the dustbin of the robot after it has filled up.
Both robots are adept in removing dirt and dust particles on carpets and hard floors and can move around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home to aid the i3+ in its navigation and clean efficiently. However, unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots we evaluated the i3+ does not have a feature for avoiding obstacles, so it may get stuck on things like socks or power cords, and may have issues navigating across surface transitions, such as from hardwood to rug.
iRobot suggests that you clear areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, and include putting away any clutter or toys it may encounter. Also, keep the dustbin and filters clean to prevent them from becoming clogged. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's dust bin. It then continues cleaning where it started. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and takes about three hours to fully recharge.

This doesn't mean that this model doesn't have its benefits It's lighter and more agile than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming efficiency is better on low-pile carpet.

In our tests our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors and handled dog hair (on carpet) very well, picking up 86% of it. It did not do well in avoiding taller items like socks or cords.
